A yard full of piled of lumber, tarnished warehouses and miscellaneous rubble is undoubtedly a quirky and uncharacteristic location for a newborn session. Fortunately, I have quirky clients who are happy to shake things up a bit. In fact, baby e’s daddy had a pretty avant-garde notion for the session to begin with, so I think/hope these turned out a little more masculine and edgy than my typical newborn set. I have to give him due credit loud and clear because I’m sure my mother-in-law will eventually see these… newborn with shattered glass background pictures… and I can blatantly point his direction while craning my neck the other way. whistledoodeedoo =).

*Thanks, daddy j, for being the fall guy =)… and mama j for letting us romp around the junkyard with your brand new bundle. See, I swore he’d not be in college before I shared some of these!

Notes & Tidbits:
:: We’re back! Again! This time it was Tortilla Flat, Arizona. Yep, Tortilla Flat. I’m serious. I’ll share some bee family snapshots when I get a chance.
:: I have NEW Contact Information under “connect” in the navigation bar. (Suzanne, I finally sorted out the new info… I owe you an email!).
:: Miss S, I’ll have your pictures ready for you this week.
:: I just added a couple new blogs to my blogstalk list:
ETSY WEDDING | OFFBEAT FINDS FOR THE ECLECTIC BRIDE. A collection of gorgeous bridal and wedding related etsy finds – all in one spot. Make sure you block out some time because there’s hours of fresh eye candy to browse if you’re a new visitor.
STITCHED LITTLE ELEPHANT. Jessica Trounce, a new friend and client, has a blog showcasing creative baby toys, clothes, and decor she’s crafted (plus other goodies that inspire her). For example, she’s made these hand stitched animals, one for each letter of the alphabet. Makes me want to go for baby #3 just so I can have an excuse to make some shelves, line ‘em up, and gaze at their stuffed cuteness all day. *don’t worry Hank & Nicole, no more babies, especially before your wedding ;). *
