A wee shameful nod goes to this infrequent and fragmented blogging habit of mine… shaking a finger at myself :|. I’m just going to jump back in (again), carry on, and hope that I can keep up with the world enough to blog more often! Outlook looks good… a business partnership that has been in the works for about a year has finally come to fruition, and it’s the biggest blessing of my photography career yet. I have a new business/studio manager! And not just any studio manager - organizational mastermind, awesome photographer, and dear friend, Kimberly Jarman. She officially has her (full) hands even fuller. I’m beyond excited for things to catapult to the next level around here. It’s time!
On a side note - us Bees are doing wonderful! Thanks so much for all your emails and warm wishes making sure I’m still alive. I’ve been wrapped up with sessions and weddings, and on top of that, these little Bees have been keeping me on my toes. It’s a whole new chapter in our family too – both of my babies are now full time elementary students! I don’t mean to sound more excited than I should be, but I never thought the day would come =). Fortunately, the kids have AMAZING teachers (in more ways than a thousand) who let me participate in their classrooms. I’m truly grateful that I get to be involved… that I have the kind of job that allows me the freedom, and that we have the kind of teachers who welcome parent involvement with open arms. I also get to wear a cool PTA badge that says “school photographer” and take candid pictures of the cutest kids doing all sorts of fun projects and fieldtrips. Yep, I’ve been looking forward to this phase all along. Of course, I’m especially very fond of the new chunk of time all to myself. It’s been about 7 years since I’ve had a decent amount of time carved out during the day, instead of the middle of the night, to get my work done. I feel like a brand new (awake) lady!
Anyway, I’m rambling. On to the pictures. I’m going to backtrack quite a bit because there’s a plethora of sessions stacked up here that are begging to be blogged. Let’s rewind back to warmer weather when the wide open fields were soft and green…to this little guy, mr. mini heart-throb himself…
